
I’m feeling a bit discouraged. I know this isn’t the greatest picture, and I’ve talked about this before, but my vitamin supplement has soy and corn in it, likewise for the Calcium supplement. There would be no point in going back to the Day 1 again over this because I will be taking these for the foreseeable future, probably the rest of the year or more. It just seems like so many things have gotten in the way of my nutrition and health leading up to this point and haven’t let up during this 30 days either. My stupid tooth is at least out of my skull now, but it is pushing 6-months that it has messed me up in some way or another be it pain, dentist visits, diet cleanse sabotage, or some combination thereof. I don’t know if it is clear, but the vitamin supplement/sabotage is supposed to help regenerate the bone that my tooth killed with infection, which is why I will be continuing to take it. Then pile on being sick. I took some medicine so I could get a good night’s sleep last night, but that has sugar and additives as well. Part of the motivation to undertake this challenge was the hope of that Tiger’s Blood. I’d really hoped that I’d get to around this point and be starting to feel like all the trouble was worth it because I felt so much better. Unfortunately it still mostly feels like a lot of trouble to be this strict about my diet with pretty minimal rewards. It is time to start planning the dismount from this 30-day push. I guess I’ll just have to keep after it. We used our grill basket for the first time today. It was pretty cool. The broccoli really absorbed the flavors into all the nooks and crannies. But the zucchini was still rather al dente.

- Lunch: leftover curry
- Dinner: grilled chicken and vegetables with sweet potato mash
